How can Botox Injections help me?
Many of the wrinkles and lines on our faces are due to the repeated movements of the muscles of facial expression under the skin. When we are younger, the skin is soft and elastic and easily bounces back when folded by the muscles. As we get older, the skin loses its ability to bounce back and the lines remain even when the muscle is relaxed.

This is where Botox Cosmetic comes in. Botox relaxes the muscles that are causing wrinkles. Some muscles we are trying to totally relax, and some just a little. In younger people, Botox injections act as a preventative against the formation of these wrinkles. What is the Botox Injections Like?
Very simple! We apply some alcohol to your skin and then use a tiny needle (used for insulin injections) to inject the Botox. It takes less than 15 minutes, pain is minimal, and you are on your way.
When will I see results from a Botox Injection?
Some patients will see some results within a few days from the treatment. But it may take up to 2 weeks to see the full effect. This varies from person to person and whether you have recently had Botox injections.
How long do Botox injections last?
Most patients will see results for 3-4 months, some less and some more. Getting more Botox before the effect totally wears off, can gradually extend its duration.
Is there anyone who should not use BOTOX Cosmetic?
Obviously, you should not get Botox if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant, breastfeeding, or if you are allergic to it. Some other conditions that preclude its use include ALS, Myasthenia Gravis, and Lambert-Eaton syndrome
What are the Botox Side Effects?
Botox has been injected tens of millions of times for more than 10 years. It has a remarkable safety record. The most common Botox side effects are due to the injection and can include bruising. We do everything to avoid this, but sometimes it happens. Rarely, the Botox can drift from the injection site and can cause unintended muscles to relax. This is pretty rare and the good thing is that there are no lasting effects and everything eventually returns to normal.
