However, modern techniques have led to a noticeable reduction in the visibility of scarring. After surgery, you will be observed closely in our quiet recovery facility and then discharged home to heal. A thin tube for draining will most likely be inserted near the incision area to help control bleeding, and you'll need to wear a medical sports bra for a few days to improve blood flow to the breasts during the immediate recovery. After about a month, your breasts will settle and the post-op effects will disappear. Keep in mind, it is important to stay at a healthy weight so the outcomes are not affected in a negative way.
