Injectables and Dermal Fillers

When it comes to selecting an anti-aging treatment that quickly and effectively eliminates wrinkles and fine lines, it is hard to argue against the use of Facial Fillers. Cosmetic fillers (like Juvederm, Restylane, and Radiesse) offer a very effective way to instantly fill and plump the skin, making it smooth and wrinkle-free.

While the results may vary from individual to individual, Juvederm, Restylane, and Radiesse are among the most significant injectable dermal filler treatments available in the health and beauty marketplace today for removing wrinkles and creases in the skin.

Different Types of Injectables

There are many different types of injectables to meet the needs of each patient. Whether it comes to treating fine lines and wrinkles, to sculpting your cheek and jawline, injectables have many uses. We offer two types of neuromodulators and different types of dermal fillers. Keep in mind each Injector Provider will provide specific benefits for each injectable during your consultation. Our experienced injectors will provide an individualized and custom treatment plan for your needs.

Dermal FIllers

Juvederm and Restylane - Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Based Dermal Fillers

These fillers consist of hyaluronic acid, a natural building block of the skin. They are very soft and gel-like and ideal for plumping lips and filling small lines and areas. The body breaks them down over time and they lose their effectiveness. They can be used anywhere in the face including under the eyes and lips.

Kybella - Deoxycholic Acid

Kybella is injected into the fat beneath the chin, where deoxycholic acid can destroy fat cells, leading to a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells are no longer able to store or accumulate fat.

Radiesse - Calcium-Based Microspheres

Radiesse is a synthetic filler consisting of tiny calcium spheres in a gel base. It has a much thicker consistency than the hyaluronic acid fillers. The gel part of Radiesse gives immediate results, but the calcium particles stimulate new collagen production by the skin! So Radiesse is better for deeper lines and heavier volume restoration. It cannot be used on the lips.

Sculptra - Poly-L-Lactic Acid

Sculptra provides youthful looks by helping your body produce new collagen and underlying tissue. This leads to creating a fuller and youthful appearance. They can be used for nasolabial folds, contour deficiencies, such as cheeks, and other wrinkles. We also can use Sculptra for a non-invasive Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).

What Can I Expect Before and After a Dermal Filler Procedure?

We will prep your skin with topical anesthetic and alcohol. We will then use small needles to make several injections in the desired areas. We have new techniques using blunt microcannulas that can minimize the number of needle sticks needed. Most of the fillers now have lidocaine included in the filler, so as we inject you are being numbed at the same time! Afterward, you may experience swelling and occasional bruising. These side effects resolve in a few days. Most fillers can last from 6 months to more than a year. Studies have shown that regular facial filler use causes the formation of new collagen, the building block of skin!

What do Dermal Fillers Cost?

Facial fillers are priced per syringe. It is a fixed price and includes the expert injection of the filler. The good thing is that we have many specials and discounts to get the amount of filler you need, within your budget.

Cheek Fillers and Under the Eye Fillers

Our philosophy regarding dermal fillers has changed significantly over the years. Once relegated to just filling smile lines and other wrinkles, the concept of facial volume restoration has evolved. We now know the loss of facial volume in the cheeks, temples, etc., contributes more to the aged look than lines and wrinkles. So we now focus on restoring youthful facial volume by placing fillers under the eyes, cheeks, and lips. The new Juvederm Voluma was developed specifically as a cheek filler and offers superior results and longevity.
