You will not feel like you're talking to a car salesman; she will not recommend things that she doesn't think you need, she will not try to trick you into thinking you should pay more for something that may not fit your specific desired outcome. She will not question why you want what you want or make you feel like you might regret it. She will not price gouge you. And most importantly, she will do a damned good job.I'll go into more detail about my specific experience if you are either considering explant or specifically considering Dr. Hix-Hernandez in a follow up post, but for those just looking for an initial recommendation I hope my 5 stars speak to that."

"Dr. Staci Hix-Hernandez is the most amazing person, surgeon, and doctor I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Her whole staff is kind, knowledgeable and very professional. I had a very traumatic childbirth with my last child and I was reminded of that trauma every time I looked down at my stomach. During my consult I never felt like unrealistic expectation were given and I didn’t feel like I was an object that the surgeon couldn’t wait to open and mold. It felt like I was being seen and heard and given a solution all in one. Dr Hix-Hernandez did not ever try to upsell me and refused to do part of the procedure I wanted all at once due to safety issues. She also stated I would get more for my money if I waited to do lipo after the tummy tuck versus doing it all at once. She has sculpted my shape into something I am proud to call my own. Dr Hix-Hernandez also gives you her personal cell phone number and is very responsive after hours during the recovery process. I never felt worried that I would be abandoned if I needed help post operatively.
