"Writing this review solely on my consultation with Dusky. I came in today for a breast augmentation consultation. I indicated on my paperwork that I am currently taking a particular medication. Turns out, I’ll need to wait a year until I’d be eligible for surgery. I was told this before my breast were examined (totally fine and normal protocol I’m sure) but I was nervous that because the consultant knew I wouldn’t be booking my surgery anytime soon, my experience there today would suffer. What Can I Expect from My Breast Augmentation with Lift?
Breast augmentation with a lift is generally performed at our accredited surgical facility in Cedar Park, TX as an outpatient procedure where you will be placed under general anesthesia. For this procedure, the breast lift is usually the first to be performed. The loose skin is eliminated, and the surrounding tissue is smoothed. Dr. Hix-Hernandez will explain the options available for breast implants before your surgery so your implants can be easily placed. In some instances, the nipple and/or areola will need to be moved to better match your new breast shape and size. The time needed for recovery for augmentation with a lift will vary from patient to patient; however, you should be strong enough to resume your everyday activities in about a week. You will need to abstain from exercise and strenuous activities for 2 – 6 weeks. There may also be moderate swelling following the procedure that can last for 2 – 3 weeks. Breasts will begin to settle into their new, transformed position in about 3 – 6 months where at that time you should be able to see your results.
