Laser Hair Removal Reviews
"Krystal and Dusky are the best!!! I have been going to Beleza med spa now for 2 years and have not been disappointed. Krystal has been patient with me through laser hair removal. She has walked me through and helped me to feel comfortable throughout the whole process. She has also helped me with my facials. I feel like she really has a vested interest in the health of my skin and hair removal efforts! She really cares. Dusky has been super patient with me and walks me through purchasing products or procedures from point A to point B. She is very welcoming and helpful. She makes sure that I know the details of products and how they will affect my skin before I buy them. She is also a registered nurse, so that helps her in determining the best course of action when it comes to products and procedures."- M.G. / Google / Aug 25, 2020
Why ALMA Laser Soprano?
This laser is unique in its application experience. Its new technology of lasers features additional cooling allowing for patients to feel minimal discomfort. Multiple clinical studies have proven that the Alma Laser Soprano is the safest method of laser hair removal for all skin types, including dark skin whereas melanin is significantly more sensitive to the heat used in typical laser treatment. It can also be used to treat vascular and pigmented lesions.
Is It Permanent?
To begin the process of hair removal, a consultation with one of our skin professionals can set an expectation of a recommended number of treatments for best results. Following this recommendation will help achieve more permanent results. Lighter hair is more difficult to treat because there less melanin is present in the hair follicles, so a touch-up may be necessary after 1-2 years after treatment.
What Should I Expect?
During a laser hair removal treatment, a laser will emit a light that will then be absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. A single session will typically take an hour, depending on the size of the area being treated. Six to eight treatments are generally recommended and up to ten treatments for darker skin types. Each session is suggested to be spaced about four to eight weeks apart, depending on the area of the body being treated. Contact us to schedule your consultation today.
