"I am 4 weeks post-op mommy makeover (breast lift & tummy tuck). I feel GREAT and am loving what I see in the mirror so far. I'm still swelling a little but that is to be expected at this point. My incisions are all healing nicely and are very thin lines. Dr. Hix-Hernandez has been wonderful from the beginning. She gave her personal phone number to call if any problems or concerns came up after surgery. I didn't want to bother her but did have a concern when one breast started bleeding at 2.5 weeks. What Can I Expect from My Mommy Makeover?
A mommy makeover at Beleza Surgery is a custom surgery tailored for each woman by Dr. Hix-Hernandez based on the specific body areas they desire to be corrected. Many procedures can be paired together — the most common treatments are liposuction of the flanks and lower back, as well as breast lift surgery, breast implants, and tummy tuck surgery. These surgeries are performed while the patient is under general anesthesia, lasting 3 – 7 hours depending on the complexity, at our accredited OR in our Cedar Park, TX facility. Your treatment plan might also include nonsurgical methods, such as laser treatments and injectables, to smooth facial wrinkles and diminish surface irregularities.
Afterward, you will begin your recovery at home with rest and proper aftercare. Recovering from this surgery is generally a slow process, depending on your specific treatment plan. - We generally advise patients to wait until after having children before getting a mommy makeover. This is because pregnancy and childbirth may undo the results of your procedures.
