How Brazilian Buttock Augmentation Works
Beleza Plastic Surgeons will assess your body to determine the best donor site for harvesting fat. Excess fat is collected from the abdomen, hips, lower back, and thighs. They will use power-assisted liposuction to extract the excess fat from the donor areas. They possess the surgical skills and the artistic eye to sculpt your abdomen, waist, and flanks to accentuate your buttocks.
After extracting the fat, the local anesthetic fluid is drained from it. Next, through a series of injections, the fat is carefully placed into multiple layers and the desired shape of the butt is achieved. Fat grafting is performed in a series of small injections to carefully sculpt the buttock's contour and fullness profile. Your preference for butt size and shape will be used to guide the fat transfer.
Given that at least 10-20% percent of fat will dissolve back into the body, Beleza surgeons will inject more fat into the buttocks to make sure the size increase remains over time. Best results may require fat transfer to be repeated at least one more time.

What to Expect From the Brazilian Butt Lift

Brazilian Butt Lift Surgery is performed under oral sedation and local anesthesia. Anesthesia is given around your fat donor sites and the buttocks area. Patients are awake during the procedure but feel a little discomfort. You are back on your feet immediately, go home without pain, and are free to resume normal activities.

We have all heard the horror stories of black market butt injections used for buttock augmentation. Whatever you call them, butt shots, booty shots, or just buttocks injections, at first it seems to be a quick and easy way to get a bigger butt. After the Brazilian Butt Lift, it is normal for swelling and tenderness in the buttocks area to last for several weeks. You are unable to sit directly on it for the first 72 hours, and then as little as possible for the first week. To rest comfortably while your buttocks heal, we recommend having several body pillows or foam contour pillows on hand so you can sleep comfortably.
