Frown Lines are also known as glabella lines or ‘11s’, are vertical lines between the eyebrows due to repeated contraction of the muscles of facial expression. They tend to make individuals look angry or upset. Treated with Botox injections, typically 20-25 units are injected in 4-5 spots. Deep, etched lines may require a filler in addition to Botox to fully smooth them. Regular maintenance of this area with Botox will ensure these lines never return. Correction of frown lines produces a dramatic change in appearance and can lead to better interactions with others!
