Absolutely Exceeded What I Thought Was Even Possible, So So Grateful - I do plan on posting photos [with my tattoos blurred out] once I've healed a little bit more, but for now I just wanted to absolutely rave about my experience with Dr Hix-Hernandez and her team.The tldr: Make the appointment. Go talk to her and her fantastic team. Get an actually reasonable quote for the procedure you're interested in (by no means the "cheapest" but actually reasonable and they take Care Credit!) Get no-nonsense answers to your questions and a realistic understanding of ALL of your options. You will not feel like you're talking to a car salesman; she will not recommend things that she doesn't think you need, she will not try to trick you into thinking you should pay more for something that may not fit your specific desired outcome. She will not question why you want what you want or make you feel like you might regret it. She will not price gouge you. And most importantly, she will do a damned good job.I'll go into more detail about my specific experience if you are either considering explant or specifically considering Dr. Hix-Hernandez in a follow up post, but for those just looking for an initial recommendation I hope my 5 stars speak to that. This is my go to place for Lip Fillers. Ashley is amazing! I love the is place so much, I decided to have Lipo 360/BBL with Dr Smith. Surgery was last week and I’m loving my results so far! Scheduling a consult was super easy, Dusky the surgical coordinator is amazing. She explained everything to me at my consult and after a few days of thinking it over, I went ahead and booked. Sofia was my treatment coordinator, she was great! She answered all my questions and always responded to my calls. The pre-op appt. with Dr. Smith was great. Dr. Smith explained everything from top to bottom in details leaving myself and my husband with few questions. The day of surgery was a breeze. I didn’t catch the names of the Surgical nurse or PA, but they did everything to make sure I was comfortable my entire surgery. Dr Smith is an amazing provider. He did wonders and I’m so pleased and impressed with what I’m seeing so far. Dusky called me the day after surgery and explained everything post operatively in detail what do to from this point forward before my 2 week appt. I will most definitely be scheduling my next surgery at Beleza Medical spa. The communication with this place is spot on, leaving me with no negative remarks. Next year is tummy tuck time! Brleza killeen is the best. I can't say enough great things about Taylor Childs. I've received treatment at three different beleza locations and Taylor and Ashley are Superve. The welcoming attitude, knowledge base, attention to detail from Taylor is a million times better than any other place I've ever visited. I wish there was a Taylor at every costumer service desk. Panniculectomy and Breast Reduction/lift - Hix-Hernandez changed my life for the better forever! June of 2021 she performed a breast reduction lift. Removing 5pds of breast tissue. I then proceeded to lose 75 pds over the next year. And in July 2023 she performed my panniculectomy. Dr Hix responds. In the days after surgery I texted her early one morning.. and she wrote back within 15 minutes. And She's not afraid of the harder cases.. of which I was one.. my weight was not in check when we did the breast procedure. But she knew it would be life changing for me and said Yes. My healing was flawless. My scaring is minimal. I feel better than I can ever remember. I turned 60 this year! And can never recommend Dr Hix and her team enough. More

I got a breast lift on 6/8/23. I had a great experience and I’m more than happy with my results. I was skeptical at first because I didn’t see many before/after photos online. WONDERFUL experience start to finish. I am 66 and just had my implants removed yesterday. At 66 the implants are not worth the trouble, and health concerns. She will not recommend any surgery you don’t need and will be honest about the possible results. Writing this review solely on my consultation with Dusky. I came in today for a breast augmentation consultation. I indicated on my paperwork that I am currently taking a particular medication. Turns out, I’ll need to wait a year until I’d be eligible for surgery. I was told this before my breast were examined (totally fine and normal protocol I’m sure) but I was nervous that because the consultant knew I wouldn’t be booking my surgery anytime soon, my experience there today would suffer. Well, I was wrong! After my examination, I was told I’d be a better candidate for a breast lift. My consultant was very pleasant and informative and explained the reasoning for this. I never once felt rushed or less important which I totally appreciate. I left there hopeful and excited to start this process again next year. 🙂 More

I got a panniculectomy a few weeks ago from Dr. Hix. She is friendly, great at communication, honest, caring and compassionate. . My first meeting was with Dusky and she was simply amazing and informative. So on the day of surgery I was nervous, but everyone was very calming and made it one of the easiest procedures I have ever had done. When I had issues with some drainage they called me back quick with solutions and advice. My only regret is waiting 10 years to have this done after I lost 125 lbs. If you're interested, they usually have specials going on whether it's for fillers, hydrafacials, cool sculpting, Botox, ect (this is just what I've seen. It'll vary when you ask). The main reason I love it here is because of the results I've experienced. Not once have I been disappointed with the results. Also, the staff is great! Taylor is super accommodating and Ashley is really good at making me look natural lol & Shout out to Tehia!! She's is a very well experienced LME. She's professional, has a lot of knowledge if you're worried/curious, and she's also a great time to chat with. So they're moving to a new location near Shilo Inn & they're also opening a new MedSpa at Liberty Hill. I'm moving near the Austin area soon, but I will literally drive all the way to Killeen just to get my routines done from Tehia and Ashley lol (but I'm sure the other locations are just as great). I went in for a tummy tuck & to have my severely torn abs repaired. The surgery went well (no issues at all) & my recovery process has been stress free. I had been considering microneedling for almost two years before my appointment, due to bad acne scars post-hospital admission. This fall, I decided to go for it. Emily was meticulous and made the process so easy. My facial redness went down after 1 day and I was able to do a photo shoot 36 hours after with no evidence of treatment. So far I have seen more improvement in my scarring and my skin texture than I have from using several infamous topical products in the past year. This is after just ONE session. As a result I have been much more simple and gentle with my day to day skincare. There is truly something effective about microneedling resurfacing and strengthening the skin barrier. I went to her for a second opinion after developing a large psuedobursa on my entire abdomen from a tummy tuck by another local plastic surgeon last May. It left me in pain for almost a year along with stinky fluid that would come out of my belly button. I spent so much wasted time and money going back to the other plastic surgeon trying to get my problem fixed. Dr. Hix-Hernandez did a revision and removed the psuedobursa. I was immediately out of pain. My stomach is actually flat and no longer disfigured. My incision 8 days post op already looks way better than my scar that had a year to heal from the previous plastic surgeon. She gives her patients her personal number to call if there are problems. The other place I could only reach my surgeon through his wife/office manager resulting in the mismanagement that put me through a year of hell. Had I gone to Beleza and Dr. Hix-Hernandez in the first place it would have saved me so much money, time away from work, and pain. She is a very skilled surgeon. She cares about her patients. If you are in the Austin area, her long wait list is worth it. My experience with this surgery was so much better compared to the other plastic surgeon. As a nurse, I was extremely impressed with the pre-op and post-op education and follow up at Beleza. Now that I have experienced the professionalism of Dr. Hix-Hernandez’s office it makes me feel like I got my first surgery from a used car salesman. More

I am 4 weeks post-op mommy makeover (breast lift & tummy tuck). I feel GREAT and am loving what I see in the mirror so far. I'm still swelling a little but that is to be expected at this point. My incisions are all healing nicely and are very thin lines. Dr. Hix-Hernandez has been wonderful from the beginning. She gave her personal phone number to call if any problems or concerns came up after surgery. I didn't want to bother her but did have a concern when one breast started bleeding at 2.5 weeks. I called and she answered while shopping in Home Depot. God Bless her!!! She made me feel so much better! I had a hematoma that had broke loose and exited thru the incision below that breast. Two days later at 10:30 at night, not wanting to bother her again by calling, I texted her pictures after I noticed the steristrip had come off the breast that was bleeding and there was a small separation. She immediately text me back! She calmed my nerves so much just by being available when I needed her. She truly cares about her patients and I'm glad I chose her as my doctor. Dr Stacy Hix is an amazing plastic surgeon! After my cancer surgery, she reconstructed my breasts, using my own breast tissue. The final step was to do a fat transfer from my stomach to fill my breasts. That procedure was done two days ago. The results of both surgeries is PERFECTION! The staff at Beleza is great! Dr. Hix Hernandez goes above and beyond any surgeon I’ve ever met!!! She spent almost an hour with me at my consult and about the same at my pre-op. She is so caring and is a perfectionist! She has many years of experience in all of the procedures she offers, as well as many years of reconstruction experience so she can handle complicated cases with ease. She is not the cheapest by any means. You get what you pay for in plastics and if you are shopping for plastic surgery by price then you probably shouldn't be having work done. On the same note she also didn't up-sell me on procedures I didn't need like every single other surgeon did. The staff was great, I was able to call and email with any and all questions without any issues. The procedure was a breeze I was completely comfortable beforehand (met and chatted with all of the assisting staff) and was in absolutely no pain afterwards. Nurses called and checked in on me multiple times the first week post op and I was able to call and text Dr. Hix on her personal cell with any concerns and was even able to send pics of progress so she could ease my worries after removing bandages. I'm 9 days post op now, still feeling and looking great! She's been such a blessing, and I am so grateful for her!!! I have several friends who I have referred to her after my consult and they love her as well. You won’t find a better surgeon than Staci! More

I am loving what I see in the mirror so far - I am 4 weeks post-op mommy makeover (breast lift & tummy tuck). I feel GREAT and am loving what I see in the mirror so far. I'm still swelling a little but that is to be expected at this point. My incisions are all healing nicely and are very thin lines. Dr. Hix-Hernandez has been wonderful from the beginning. She gave her personal phone number to call if any problems or concerns came up after surgery. I didn't want to bother her but did have a concern when one breast started bleeding at 2.5 weeks. I called and she answered while shopping in Home Depot. God Bless her!!! She made me feel so much better! I had a hematoma that had broke loose and exited thru the incision below that breast. Two days later at 10:30 at night, not wanting to bother her again by calling, I texted her pictures after I noticed the steristrip had come off the breast that was bleeding and there was a small separation. She immediately text me back! She calmed my nerves so much just by being available when I needed her. She truly cares about her patients and I'm glad I chose her as my doctor. I am in love with the Cedar Park Beleza! Not only are the staff top notch but I have never seen better results anywhere else. Kate is just great for fillers. She included me the entire time to get my exact desired look. I had minimal to no bruising and low swelling for under eye filler. My lips came out like pillows, I wanted a conservative look but enough to enhance what I already had, and she gave me exactly what I asked for. Her approach to Botox is refreshing, in that she only wants to provide enough to make you feel comfortable, not just load your face up with as much as possible. Tummy Tuck w/ MR - I’m on day 2po and I’m shocked at how minimal the pain is. I’m staying on top of my meds. I was able to get myself to the bathroom by the end of surgery day. I’ll post my befores but I can’t take my binder off for another 2 days. I’ll post those once that happens!Updated on 25 Apr 2019: I slept through my alarm for my pain pill! Woke up feeling ok, I can feel more around my belly but it’s still not painful, just slightly uncomfortable. I’m sleeping in a recliner! My back hurts more than anything. I’m standing mote upright which helps my back! I get to take my binder off either tomorrow or Saturday to check out my new belly!! More

I have been going to Krystal for the "vampire facial" as commercially known through the Kardashians, ie Microneedling with PRP for 3 months now. 3 to go!!  She is super patient as I am highly sensitive and i won’t lie, in the first couple minutes it’s rough!!  But I am pretty thin, so there’s a lot of skim on none of you know what I mean lol!  I have to tell you, I am from the Iberian Peninsula and therefore had quite a bit of pigmentation. I’ve tried lasers, Obagi (what a nightmare that was), and just about everything you can think of. Krystal suggested this treatment and it has been working like a charm!  But I don’t think I could get through it without her!  She really pays attention to her work, checks in the next day to see how I am doing, and really works to make this as best of an experience as it can possibly be. From all the recent reviews I’ve read about this location, I’ve really been considering going somewhere else for my Botox and other procedures. But I will stick with Krystal for any procedure she does as I can tell she does amazing work and really does care that her clients are happy at the end of the day and understands we wear our faces everyday and are investing in her work. She is super patient as I am highly sensitive and i won't lie, in the first couple minutes it's rough!! But I am pretty thin, so there's a lot of skim on none of you know what I mean lol! I have to tell you, I am from the Iberian Peninsula and therefore had quite a bit of pigmentation. I've tried lasers, Obagi (what a nightmare that was), and just about everything you can think of. Krystal suggested this treatment and it has been working like a charm! But I don't think I could get through it without her! She really pays attention to her work, checks in the next day to see how I am doing, and really works to make this as best of an experience as it can possibly be. From all the recent reviews I've read about this location, I've really been considering going somewhere else for my Botox and other procedures. But I will stick with Krystal for any procedure she does as I can tell she does amazing work and really does care that her clients are happy at the end of the day and understands we wear our faces everyday and are investing in her work. She is most genuinely interested in clients results and HONEST. I went to see Dr Franco in Austin 2016 and spent good amount of money and get deformed body of areas and very unhappy for 3 years.. Because I got a surgery that don’t need or not a good candidate for what he did ... wish never met him . He’s good salesman...However, I met this Dr Staci Hix about 3 months ago and had a revision . I’m on day 2po and I’m shocked at how minimal the pain is. I’m staying on top of my meds. I was able to get myself to the bathroom by the end of surgery day. I’ll post my befores but I can’t take my binder off for another 2 days. I’ll post those once that happens!Updated on 25 Apr 2019:I slept through my alarm for my pain pill! Woke up feeling ok, I can feel more around my belly but it’s still not painful, just slightly uncomfortable. I’m sleeping in a recliner! My back hurts more than anything. Dr. Hix and Dusky took the best care of me and I never felt worried in their hands. I am very fit but 3 kiddos did a number on me and Dr. Hix gave me my life back. I am forever indebted to her, she is hands down the best plastic surgeon ever. Even though recovery has been painful I would do this 100x over. I consulted with several other offices before deciding on Dr. Hix, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I had previously had laser Lipo and fat transfer by Dr. Broder 5 years ago and had amazing results! I then had another child and went in to have a consultation with Dr. Hix-Hernandez, and she was fabulous. Every other Dr had said I would need implants, and she told me the best route for me in my case. She broke down the whole procedure and the pricing. She is very compassionate and takes her time. I am losing the weight so I cna hopefully have the surgery after the beginning of the year! I am ecstatic! More

I have been trying for years to rid the hair on my face due to the ingrown hairs and scarring it would leave on my face. Dr. Hix Hernandez goes above and beyond any surgeon I’ve ever met!!! She spent almost an hour with me at my consult and about the same at my pre-op. She is so caring and is a perfectionist! She has many years of experience in all of the procedures she offers, as well as many years of reconstruction experience so she can handle complicated cases with ease. She is not the cheapest by any means. You get what you pay for in plastics and if you are shopping for plastic surgery by price then you probably shouldn't be having work done. On the same note she also didn't up-sell me on procedures I didn't need like every single other surgeon did. The staff was great, I was able to call and email with any and all questions without any issues. The procedure was a breeze I was completely comfortable beforehand (met and chatted with all of the assisting staff) and was in absolutely no pain afterwards. Nurses called and checked in on me multiple times the first week post op and I was able to call and text Dr. Hix on her personal cell with any concerns and was even able to send pics of progress so she could ease my worries after removing bandages. I'm 9 days post op now, still feeling and looking great! She's been such a blessing, and I am so grateful for her!!!
